Pressure Washing Town Common Park

Our City Has Trust In Us, You Should To

After Hurricane Mathew, most of the low lying areas of Eastern North Carolina were left devastated by the flood.  Thanks to the Recreation and Parks department of Greenville NC we were able to get out there and do some much needed pressure washing.  The Town Common Park is a great place to relax and enjoy live music and yearly festivals.  With that being said, we knew we had to jump on the job asap.

Cleaning The BoardWalk

We started off by clearing the mud and debris from the 1500 ft boardwalk looking over the tar river.  This took several hours of shoveling and sweeping left over mud.  Once we got it cleared off, the pressure washing began.  By using our surface cleaners we were able to strip the concrete of all the dirt from the flood. We were also able to get rid of the build up of bacteria from years of growth.

In addition to the concrete walking area was a brick wall bordering the boardwalk.  Over the years, bacteria growth had taken over and left a completely black wall.  After using our specially formulated cleaning solution to help kill the bacteria, we started washing it off leaving a like new finish.

The boardwalk also consists of a vinyl coated chain length fence keeping people safe from falling over into the river.  The entire fence was covered in mud and leaves left over by the flood.  Just like the brick wall, we coated the fence with our environmentally friendly cleaning solution and begin washing everything off.

Cleaning The Toyota Amphitheater

The Town Common Park is home to the Toyota Amphitheater were locals can go to watch live music and shows.  We suspected that it had not been cleaned in several years.  We started off the by cleaning the roof. Using our low pressure roof cleaning system we coated the roof with our roof cleaning solution killing all the bacteria and fungus growth that was present.  Being that it was a metal roof we rinsed it off after it had done its job leaving a shiny clean roof.  With its high ceilings and over head walkways, it leaves plenty of room for birds to nest and expel their feces. Getting rid of it was a breeze using the right cleaning solutions and our soft wash method.

After we finished, the park was finally back open and ready for the public to once again enjoy its many amenities.  We are always happy to serve our city with all of its cleaning needs!
