Make Your Wood Beautiful Again

Tired of seeing your deck or fence covered in algae or turning grey? Over time the UV rays from the sun bleaches the wood leaving it that ugly grey color.  To add to that, algae and fungus get trapped in the wood-feeding off the moisture causing it to turn black and green.  By washing and sealing the wood it will protect and make it look great for years to come.

Wood Cleaning Process

  1.  We start the process off by applying our specially formulated wood cleaning solution.  It kills and brings the bacteria to the outer surface of the wood.
  2.  Once the solution has had time to dwell and do its work, we began washing it using medium pressure at 8 to 10 gallons per minute.  The low pressure and large water volume strips the wood of all impurities without fuzzing and splintering.
  3. After the wood has been cleaned, we then soak it with a wood brightener. This not only brightens the wood to its natural color but gets rid of any discoloration that may be caused by fallen leaves and twigs.

Wood Staining and Sealing

Once your wood has been cleaned, it is important to either stain or seal it.  If left untreated, the wood will typically change back to the ugly gray color damaged by the sun in a year or so.  By staining or sealing it, the wood will be protected from the harmful UV rays of the sun and block the build-up of bacteria.  There are many options when choosing a product.  There are clear sealants, semi-transparent stains, and solid stains.  All options are great, it just depends on what style the homeowner is looking for.
